the close collaboration with multiple designers within the company allowed us to deliver this involved project for the holiday season. located on fifth avenue, this three level flagship required numerous approvals, including a change of use, and could not have been constructed on time using a traditional design-bid-build process. capital improvement services was able to begin the permit process early on which allowed us to start construction before many key details were settled. our hands-on approach, especially for elements such as the suspended three story reinforced concrete-and-glass stair, and our “can-do-attitude” produced a new concept shop, in a time frame and of a quality level that traditional construction organizations simply cannot match.
