Anthony Faglione

President / Senior Project Manager

Anthony Faglione founded Capital Improvement Services in 1995. He is also an owner/managing member to several real estate holding companies. With over 35 years experience in the construction management industry, Anthony’s personal commitment and drive helps Capital Improvement Services successfully complete jobs ensuring client satisfaction. His involvement in every project and his attention to the details helps to deliver every project on-time, on-budget, and to the complete satisfaction of our clients.

Mark Feldman

Vice President & Associate

Mark Feldman joined Capital Improvement Services in 2013 with 30 years experience in all aspects of field and office operations. Mark has managed projects for the Museum of Modern Art, Citibank, New York Presbyterian Hospital, Human Condition, DesignBuild and many luxury brands throughout New York City, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston and Miami. Mr. Feldman’s responsibilities include; generating initial budgets, purchasing all trades and ensuring that all projects are programmed to run smoothly and meet the client’s expectations and budget. Our skilled management team and extensive depth of subcontractor resources allows us to meet the challenges of a wide variety of projects on a global scale. CIS is prepared to allocate a dedicated team to ensure this project’s success. This team will consist of; a general supervisor, two assistant supervisors, a team of company laborers, OSHA and Site safety personnel as well as a full-time project manager and assistant manager. A site office will be constructed and will serve as home-base for day-to-day operations.

Bill Shaughnessy

Vice President

Bill joined teamCIS in 2020 and brings over 35 years of experience in the industry as a builder and owner.  Prior to joining teamCIS, Bill held senior level positions with industry leading real estate development companies and construction companies overseeing the construction of a variety of large-scale urban projects primarily in New York City, but also throughout the United States and abroad.  Bill’s responsibilities at teamCIS include integrating industry proven best practices for commercial and project management operations and actively overseeing all aspects of project planning and delivery.

David Stern, RA

Architectural Design / Project Manager

David Stem joined Capital Improvement Services in December of 2017. With decades of experience in the construction industry and architectural practice having previously run David Stern Architecture - a boutique firm providing architectural services for homeowners, interior designers, small businesses, and contractors prior to joining the Capital Improvement Services team. David's background is in architecture facilities management and construction management working on projects such as Calvin Klein, Sotheby’s and Macy’s.

Erica Frost

Assistant Project Manager & Contract Administrator

Erica Frost has been in the construction industry for over a decade. After graduating from John Jay College with a BS degree in legal studies Mrs. Frost joined Capital Improvement Services in 2006 as an Assistant Project Manager showing commitment and dedication. Erica previously worked at Bernsohn & Fetner, LLC. She has assisted in the completion of many projects such as new building construction in Brooklyn & Queens, Cassina/Poltrona Frau Showroom, Pandora Jewelers, Clive Christian Showroom, Gramercy Park Hotel, and more. Erica is a valued member of the project team and works alongside the VP and construction superintendents to assist with scheduling and completion of the project from start to finish. Erica's responsibilities include preparing contracts and subcontracts, issuing change orders, overseeing submissions processes, coordinating close-out documents, and expediting.

Paul Faglione

Supervisor & Assistant Project Manager

Paul Faglione joined Capital Improvement Services in early 2016 to coordinate between field operations and the project management team. Some of Paul's recent experiences include Landlord Work for Colliers, and Vornado, fit outs of Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty, Yves Salomon and Caudalie. Paul attended Loyola University in Maryland and has a background in finance and business management. Mr. Faglione has past experience in tech investment banking and is currently enrolled in New York University's Masters program for Real Estate and Construction Management.

 

Francis Basile

Construction Superintendent

Francis Basile joined Capital Improvement Services in 2014 as a NYC licensed superintendent. Francis has over 30 years experience in the construction industry. From start to finish, he manages every job with excitement and quality control ensuring all job are executed to the high-end specifications that our clients have learned to rely on us for. Completing well over 100 jobs, his projects include: Bottega Veneta, Zimmermann, Kate Spade, Jack Spade, Rubbermaid, Scanlan Theodore, Georg Jensen, Holland & Sherry Showroom, JK Studio and many more.

Alex Astudillo

Construction Superintendent

Alex Astudillo joined Capital Improvement Services in 1999 starting out as a carpenter and working through the ranks to become a NYC licensed superintendent. With a degree in construction from Kauno Polytechnical School, Alex has over 20 years experience in the construction industry. Mr. Astudillo manages every job with excitement and quality control ensuring all jobs are completed to the high-end specifications our clients have learned to rely on us for. Completing well over a 100 projects, his most recent include: Zimmermann, Colliers, One Penn Plaza, Amtrak, Alain Mikli, BCBG Max Azria, Reiss Ltd, DKNY, Human Condition, Cavin Klein, and many more.

Leszek Dudek

Construction Superintendent & Site Safety Coordinator

Leszek has been with Capital Improvement Services since 2008. Leszek has exhibited hard work, dedication and passion allowing him to accelerate from millworker to carpenter to site superintendent. Leszek’s skillful experience in carpentry supports his knowledge and ability running full-site build outs. Mr. Dudek has successfully completed nearly 100 projects during his tenure with Capital Improvement Services.

William Quinones

Assistant Project Manager

William Quinones joined Capital Improvement Services in 2019. William has over a decade of experience in the Real Estate industry. Most recently having worked as an estimator for ADE Systems, some of his recent work include Smart Brickell Tower I, Four Season Hotel & Private Residences & South Terminal C in Orlando, FL. Additionally, William has project management experience having worked for a boutique development company specializing in multifamily homes in the greater New York City area. William attended Brooklyn College and has a background in finance and marketing.
